Fern is the kind of pup every family dreams of. He’s overflowing with love, listens like a champ, and takes his commands very seriously—especially when praise is involved! This sweet little shadow wants to be wherever his people are and will happily remind you (often) that you’re his favorite human. He is a big fan of his ducky toys, but his true happy place is right by your side—whether that’s joining in on family movie night, supervising daily activities, or just being close. He’s super trainable and genuinely wants to be his very best self, and your kind words are his ultimate reward. Treats are nice, but a heartfelt “good boy!” will send his tail into joyful overdrive. He’s a polite, slow eater and does wonderfully with other pets, currently sharing his home with an older dog buddy and a friendly orange cat. Curious, gentle, and very friendly, Fern is ready to be everyone’s best friend.<br/>Basically, Fern is a loyal, cuddly, praise-powered sweetheart who’s ready to wiggle his way right into the heart of a lucky forever family. <br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: Fern will only be adopted out within 50 miles of the Rochester, NY area.
