Meet Felix and Oscar
Looking for an adorable duo? Search no further than Felix and Oscar!
They are arriving this coming SATURDAY, February 21st, from San Antonio and will be hoping for a FOSTER or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT home.
These two are a very special BONDED PAIR! They had a “ruff” beginning to their lives surviving on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley in Texas for months. People would throw food to them, and they would eat it right off the streets. When they were rescued in early January, they were both emaciated. Felix gets his gorgeous short coat from his mastiff and great dane mix. He is about 90 pounds. Oscar’s beautiful medium length coat comes from his german shepherd mix. He is about 50 pounds. Both of them are 3 years old. Oscar also had unfortunately been shot and his hind leg was not able to be salvaged. Fast forward to now and these two are ready for a fresh start in Colorado TOGETHER! They absolutely love each other, cuddle, and play together all the time. Both dogs are good around other canine friends and all people. We are not sure how they would do with a cat in a home. Both are completely vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Their combined adoption fee is $400.
Go to our website https://redfernanimalrescue.org/ and FILL OUT AN APPLICATION if you are interested! Due to the amount of inquiries we are receiving, we are prioritizing adoption applications at this time. Make sure you’re filling out an adoption application on Red Fern Animal Rescue’s site in Colorado, as we are not a shelter in Tennessee!
