Faye's Story

Faye is a one-year-old, spayed female. She is very sweet yet timid in new surroundings. She is shy with new people, but given the right introduction, she would settle in well with her person and even strangers. She is eager to please.

She would do well with a confident, calm companion doggie-playmate to be her friend to show her the ropes. She’s respectful of cats. Most of all, she needs the time to learn that the world doesn’t have to be a scary place.

Faye is very smart and would benefit with some obedience training with her new owner. She loves taking walks on a secure leash but can be distracted if there is a lot of activity. Please be aware, if she were to escape her leash, she would not come… and runs very fast! Hence, the need for obedience work.

The perfect adopter would need a bit of energy with a big securely-fenced yard. She loves playing fetch. Faye loves to bark and chase birds & squirrels, and she loves to play with her foster Sheltie sisters

Because she is so active, she would do best in a quiet home where her people are home more than not. She loves to snuggle with her foster mom. She takes treats gently and eats her dinner at her own pace. She’s a sweet and loving girl who deserves to be in a loving and understanding home that will help her blossom and be the best she can be.
