Falcore is a big lovable goof that acts like a puppy! He loves to run and play, and then crash next to his human. Being outside is his FAVORITE, so having a human that also loves the outdoors would be icing on the cake. He doesn’t mind being brushed and will tolerate pedicures, especially if there are treats, as all treats are amazing to him. He’s very food motivated and therefore easy to train. Falcore likes to drag his blankets around with him, and then settle in for a chew on a good bully stick or antler. An ideal home for Falcore would be in a rural environment where he could get lots of outdoor time. And another female to play with would be great! Or he could be an only dog as long as he has plenty of enrichment activities. – Are you his Pyrfect Match?!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
