Everest's Story
Meet Everest!

A hound face on a shepherd body, a contagious smile, an endurer of selfies, and an all-around four-legged good vibe. That is Everest.

Everest is a 3-year-old Shepherd/Blue Tick Hound mix who ended up at the shelter through no fault of his own. His owner left him behind, and although another family stepped up to care for him, landlord restrictions meant he could not stay. Now this very good boy is looking for some better luck and a family of his own.

Everest previously lived with children and did well. As always, cautious introductions are encouraged. He is also a rockstar with other dogs. His energy is not off the charts, but he happily played with other shelter pups and enjoyed making some new friends. He also knows some basic commands.

Meet-and-greets with the whole family are required, so bring your resident dog or dogs, bring the kids, and come see what we are talking about.

Let us get Everest out of a kennel and back into a comfy home. He is waiting for you at CBAS.
