Meet Everest

Check out this handsome guy!! Everest is super sweet and loves attention. He came to the shelter as a stray and couldn't find a place to stay. He is about 10 years old, Black Lab mix. Everest walks great one the leash and is good with other dogs (prefers females) and kids. Sweet personality. Don't miss out on him!! 573-729-3556. Everest is currently in a foster home, please contact us ahead of time to arrange a meet and greet if you would like to meet him! Heres what his foster mom has to say about living with him:

Everest loves walks, jumping over puddles after it's rained, bones that he'll chew on until gone with little to no breaks, and raising his little paws to the sky so he can get belly rubs. He's an adventure dog who does perfectly fine on hikes provided water breaks and gets along with dogs who are less energetic.

Everest's dislikes include rain, cats, and energetic dogs.
