Meet EVA GREENE ** NEEDS ANOTHER DOG IN THE HOME ** ++ No apartments. Must have a fenced yard. ++ NAME: Eva Greene AGE/GENDER: 3 year old female BREED: Husky mix TEMPERAMENT: Shy, gentle, loving WEIGHT: 50ish pounds HOUSE TRAINING: Good. CRATE TRAINING: Good. OTHER DOGS: Eva loves other dogs and does require another dog in the home. CATS: No due to her breed. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 12 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $550 HEALTH: Eva is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. HISTORY: Prior to coming to us, Eva spent the first few years of her life chained up, so she's learning how to trust people and live inside- and she's doing great. She has come out of her shells so much. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Eva is a gentle, sweet, adult husky mix who is looking for a quiet home with another dog. She really understands dogs more than people, so she takes cues and comfort from them and it helps her learn, trust and grow. Eva has come such a long way since she arrived, especially as she's discovered how nice and comfortable a home can be and she no longer wants to be outside in inclement weather or left alone for long. She does however enjoy the yard very much and as she's used to hanging out and enjoying the scenery, she will need a fenced yard for her continued happiness. She is playful and she prefers other friendly dogs and people to be calm. An intense, high-energy household would be difficult for her, but she'd love one where Netflix and chill or walks and hikes are a part of the routine. She is a gorgeous dog who sheds like a maniac as huskies tend to so be aware of the need for brushing! In all, Eva is a gem and we can't wait till someone sees her the way we do! All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs.
