Ethel Beagle Orange, VA

When sweet Ethel, arrived to us as a stray we held our breath. The sight that greeted us broke our hearts and to be honest we were not sure she would survive given the shape she was in. She was skin and bones, riddled with what appeared to be mammary tumors and a large hernia on her belly. The first few day she didn't move. We placed her food on her bed and watched her eat a bit and sleep. This girl was worn out.
A week of good meals and love she was singing for her supper and showing us her dance moves!
We still had a rocky road ahead while we discussed with the vet her age, spay, the growth on her belly and all her lady lumps!
Here we are almost 2 months later and this 12 year old beauty has proven she has the will and spirit to keep going!
Ethel was spayed and the hernia repaired as best as it could be. She is riddled with mammary lumps that given her age the decision to not pursue removal was decided. That being said we are seeking a forever home that understands she is an old girl just seeking to live out her days soaking in the sunshine, going for walks and showering those around her with all the Beagle love she can! Ethel is a senior gal with the spirit and energy of a teenager. She is a fantastic and loving lady that loves other dogs!
Ethel is spayed, microchipped and is current on all vaccines including rabies. She has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
