ESMERELDA (Spayed!) American Bulldog Crossville, TN

ESMERELDA is a friendly, gentle and happy 70 pound dog! In fact, she was adorably sweet during her check in process. She is listed as a Bulldog with brindle and white markings. An estimated age is not yet listed on her cage card. Actually, she would not stand still when she was weighed on the scale so how do that 70 pounds is a close estimate. Some girls just are not going to tell you their true weight, no matter what! Thanks to a partnership in between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, ESMERELDA, was spayed and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, February 12. As a result, she can go home the same day that she is adopted. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you arrive. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking your own dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt ESMERELDA. Even better, consider taking a dog crate with you to that adoption appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
