This is our little guy, ERNIE!<br/><br/>***He is being fostered in Riva, MD and is ready for a meet and greet!!** <br/><br/>Ernie is 3 years old and ~18 lbs. Clearly, he’s a Chi mix! <br/><br/>He is a great little dog that has a mix of cuddly and energetic. He loves to be near you at all times; he’s a real lap dog. If he’s not actually in your lap, he’d like to be on the chair right next to you. He is a wonderful work from home, buddy.<br/><br/>He does wonderfully with other dogs! He’s currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs of varying ages in sizes (2 huge Bernese Mountain dogs!) and is fine with them all. He really loves to run around in the yard at full speed and get his energy out!<br/><br/>On an energy scale, he has medium energy. Despite his desire to do zoomies, he can easily chill out and enjoy his snuggling and resting in his bed.<br/><br/>He is currently in a home with a five-year-old girl and likes her!<br/><br/>He is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.<br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about him! FlyDogzPR's Adoption Policy
FlyDogzPR upholds a thorough adoption process. The steps are as follows: 1) The potential adopter fills out a detailed adoption application for a specific animal. 2) FlyDogzPR reviews the application and deems the application suitable for the animal. 3) If deemed a suitable home, FlyDogz contacts the potential adopter to schedule a virtual interview and home check during which time the potential adopter can ask questions about the animal and FlyDogz can further determine if the home is a good fit. 4) If FlyDogz wishes to proceed, references are contacted and the adopter’s veterinarian is called for past pet records and a reference. 5) If the potential adopter is cleared to adopt, a meet and greet with the animal (either in person or virtual) can be scheduled and if the adopter confirms he/she wishes to proceed and adopt the animal, then arrangements are made for contract to be signed, payment made, and animal to be given to the adopter.
