Eritrea's Story

Eritrea came to us from a very dangerous place where we are working to help people and animals. We are spaying females and rehoming puppies so that both people and animals find some relief and safety.

This little girl was born near the end of August and was lucky to find her way to foster with two siblings (sisters). Her sisters Eden and Evita each look quite different. We know that at this camp in the woods, there are many dogs. We know they are lovable mutts just trying to survive along with their people.

Eritrea's future is bright. She is in a loving foster home in Arlee awaiting your applciation! Her adoption fee is $200. ARC Rising's Adoption Policy
We encourage you to reach out to us through messenger on our Facebook page or at director@arcrising.org while we set up our phone system and online application, which will be operational soon. Thank you for your patience. We require a full-length application to be completed. We select an adopted for each animal based upon best fit for family and animal given all provided information (not first come, first serve). We require the animal to be sterilized at the time of adoption. We do not require a site visit but reserve the right to do one if red flags arise and we reserve the right to refuse an adoption. We also have a long, thorough adoption contract that must be signed for legal transfer of ownership and adoption fee is collected at that time in the form of payment to ARC Rising. We offer post-adoption support (counseling, referral, etc.). We require that if an adoption does not work out, adopters contact ARC rising and we reserve the right to reclaim the animal or approve transfer to a reputable organization or vetted new home.
