Enzo's Story

Enzo
2 years, 55lbs
Rescued in the Southwest

Meet Enzo! This lovable 2-year-old medium-sized guy is playful, cuddly, and silly, with a side of seriousness when the moment calls for it. He's low-to-moderate energy — a mix of independent and people-oriented — and adjusted to his new foster home and schedule with ease. He loves kids, appreciating their pets and cuddles, seems fine with other dogs on walks, and gets genuinely excited when people come through the door. When left alone, he's been known to put himself into his open crate to relax, which says a lot about how comfortable and secure he feels in his space.

Enzo is fully potty, crate, and leash trained, and knows a handful of commands including sit, paw, and lay. He's a dedicated fan of stuffed toys and chew toys (and only his toys, never furniture or anything off-limits) and enjoys quick walks — about 10 minutes seems to be his sweet spot before the panting kicks in, so shorter, frequent outings suit him best. Enzo is so adaptable he'd fit in anywhere but he'd love to be somewhere where he gets to see kids sometimes! He's a companion who's happy to be lazy and chill most of the time, with fun little bursts of playful energy in between. He can't wait to meet you!

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Enzo, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. IF THIS LISTING IS UP, THE DOG IS NOT ADOPTED YET.

Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!
