Emmy's Story

Emmy is a sweet, well-mannered girl who's already showing what a wonderful companion she'll be. She settles beautifully into her crate at night and sleeps quietly through until morning like a pro. She's making great progress with house training-she understands that potty time is for outside and will go to the door to let you know when she needs to go. Occasionally she's not noticed quickly enough and has an accident nearby, but she's clearly trying her best to communicate.

Emmy enjoys the company of other dogs and recently had a successful playdate with a neighbor pup. She can get a little excited during play, but she responds well when redirected and just needs gentle guidance as she continues to build her social skills.

She's a dream on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and has a wonderfully easygoing nature indoors. Emmy loves to relax with a good chew bone or toy and will happily entertain herself. She enjoys a game of fetch, though she's not overly interested in a wide variety of toys.

One of Emmy's best qualities is how well she listens-she understands "no" and responds quickly to gentle correction. She's also not overly food-focused and tends to stick to her own meals without begging.

Emmy is a smart, affectionate pup who's already off to a great start and just needs a loving home to continue helping her shine.

ADOPTION PROCESS
1.
