Emily's Story

I came to the shelter with several other dogs from the home where I lived, so I'm comfortable around other dogs and enjoy canine company. I also love people of all ages. I'm friendly and affectionate without being overly clingy. My littermate, Ruth, and I have been helping each other adjust to shelter life. I've been encouraging her to come out of her shell, and we love spending time together. While we'd both be happy to find loving homes, we don't need to be adopted together. I do my best to keep my kennel clean, so I may pick up house training quickly with a consistent routine. Since no one has ever had the chance to teach me basic training, I'll need some patience and guidance as I learn. With positive reinforcement and a little time, I'm eager to become the best companion I can be. Could I be the perfect match for you? Come meet me and find out!
