Ember's Story

Meet Ember – The Doberman With a Heart of Gold (and a Whole Lot of Goof!)

Ember is a 2-3 year-old Doberman who’s equal parts cuddlebug and playful powerhouse. She’s sweet as can be, great with kids, loves other dogs, and—surprisingly—she’s even good with cats. (Although full disclosure: she was absolutely terrified of our cat at first. Classic big-dog-meets-tiny-terror moment so she'll need a proper introduction and some time with new kitties she meets.)

She’s still young, strong, and learning the ropes of polite dog behavior, so she’ll need a family that can help her continue with basic manners. But she makes up for it with her endless affection and joyful spirit. If you’ve got a love for snuggles and a decent throwing arm for toys, she’ll be your new best friend.

Here’s what Ember’s looking for:
• A fun, active home where she can run, play, and be her goofy self
• A human (or several) who will let her be the little spoon more often than not
• Someone excited to teach her, love her, and maybe laugh at her a little when she’s being ridiculous (which is often)

If you’ve got the time, the energy, and the love to give, Ember is ready to give it all right back—and then some. Come meet her. We dare you not to fall in love.

Apply to adopt Ember at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRRA/Dog
