This is Ember the firey dachshund. She is a young adult spayed female, estimated at 2yrs of age. She is in need of a dachshund person! Ember is the most loving doxie once she trusts you. She enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. <br/><br/>She is fully vetted and on parasite prevention. <br/><br/><br/>The difficult part of her situation is she is an emotional wreck in new surroundings the first few days. When she goes to a new place she shuts down as a defense mechanism and gets submissive and snappy. Then a couple days later she is your best friend and wants to snuggle and kiss. <br/>If you decide to adopt Ember you will have to be willing to take her home and not cuddle for a couple days. She wants her space in the beginning but WOW when she loves she doesn't give you any personal space! <br/><br/>Ember is housetrained but will also pee on a pee pad if needed. Ember is fine with car rides but she is what you would call a homebody, and prefers spending her time at home. She is a great eater and enjoys running in the yard.
