Elvis Hound Mix Onalaska, WI

Elvis is a very sweet gentleman that would fit in well with most families. He's a low key guys who likes hang out with his favorite people and explore the world with his nose.
He came to us as a stray so we are unsure if he is completely house trained but he does keep his kennel spotless here at the shelter. With a consistent routine and time to adjust we feel he would learn quickly.
We feel that Elvis would do well in a home with children of any age under parental guidance and supervision. He really enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to run and play! He would love to have a canine sibling in his new home!
Like most hounds Elvis is driven by scents and his nose may lead him astray. He should be safely confined on a leash/tie-out or with a fenced in yard. He would love for his family to take him on long walks or hikes so that he can do his favorite thing, SNIFFING!
This handsome boy has a big heart and it won't take long for you to fall in love with him. He is a world class snuggler! He does already know some basic commands like "sit" and "shake" and would love for his family to work his brain by teaching him more!

He is approximately 6 years old and weighs 49 pounds.
