My name is Elvira. I'm so awesome, they even wrote a song about me! Okay, maybe it's not actually about me, but I'm still awesome! I am a 3-year-old, 40-pound, Lab mix gal. I am house trained and crate trained. I get along great with other dogs and kids, but I might accidentally knock little kiddos down, so probably just bigger kids in my forever home. I haven't been around any cats, I'm not sure how I would do with them. I love to run and play, so my ideal home has a 6-foot-privacy-fenced yard and another dog or kiddo to play with. I would be okay as an only dog if I get plenty of daily exercise and play time with my people. I love people and I love going on adventures, so I would love be part of an active family who will take me places. By the way, I am an excellent car rider!

I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I know a few commands, but I'm really smart and eager to learn more. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion.
