Elvira is the mama of the Gothic Girls litter and a 3 year old Pit/Boxer mix with a calm, gentle personality. She’s very well behaved, knows sit, paw and come, and walks nicely on a leash with only minor pulling. She would make a GREAT jogging partner! Elvira is great with adults and young kids, and loves her cuddles with her people! She’s quiet, crate trained, potty trained, and sleeps through the night. Elvira hasn’t met cats yet and hasn’t been recently socialized with other dogs as she’s recovering from her recent spay. Elvira is a loving, easygoing girl who just wants a family to call her own. *This dog is eligible for Black Dog Friday promotion - adopt a black dog in the month of December and be eligible for a FREE etiquette class in January. Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Unchained Melodies goal is to match the right dog with the right family. Each application is read carefully and every adoption application will receive an automated e-mail response if the application is submitted properly through unchainedmelodies.org. A follow up e-mail or phone call after receiving the application will be made within 48-72 hours of receiving the complete application. Meet and greets with the entire family are required. We do not adopt "outside dogs" or "guard dogs" We require home visits and we do not facilitate out of State adoptions.
