Meet Elsa-

Elsa the (n)ice queen. AKA Smart girl, AKA baby seal, AKA princess. This sweet rescue girl has seen it all. After being abandoned in a rusty old kennel with her two pups in the pouring rain (at a high kill shelter nonetheless), she knows the true meaning of love. She loves with her whole heart. When she was found in the kennel with her pups, her puppies were happy, round, and healthy. She however was completely emaciated and starving. Every bone in her body was protruding and she was completely defeated. She gave her babies everything and expected nothing. She is a true companion dog who will love you until the day she dies.  If you look into her beautiful brown eyes, you can hear her saying “thank you”…. “Thank you for giving me a second chance”. She is house and crate trained and loves laying on her dog beds. But she loves them even more when you’re in eyesight- And if there’s a bone??? HEAVEN!

Now before you start working on that adoption application, Elsa does have a couple of things to work on. She does prefer to be an only dog. But only because after all this time she doesn’t want to share your love… which she longs for. She has come leaps and bounds in her reaction to other dogs on a leash. If shes wearing a gentle leader, she does much better and is making huge strides! But this is an area she still needs to work on.  She also needs a fenced in privacy fence to help with this as well. She also loves car rides! Just a little crack in the window to smell the fresh air is what dreams are made of.
