Elsa's Story
Age: 5 years
Weight: 18lbs

Elsa is such a little lovebug. She is one of the calmest dogs ever and will follow you from room to room just to see what youre doing and will wag her little tail. Still, she loves to go on long walks and is so curious. She's house trained and knows how to sit! You can tell she just loves humans so be prepared to give her lots of love and attention. She would do best as the only dog in the house as I've found she can be timid and worried with other dogs at times, so I recommend a dog who is very friendly and not overly territorial if you do have another, and ample time for her to warm up to them.

Even after her travels from Texas she didn't have any accidents and she's very understanding that walks mean potty! When you nap or sleep she'll cuddle right up to you and give kisses then move to the end of the bed to sleep by your feet all night. Once you wake up she's right there for more kisses and pets! She's definitely a velcro dog so be prepared to have a shadow! She is adjusting to the city really well and loves all the smells and parks and people. Her little legs can only handle but so many stairs at a time, and sometimes trucks or busses will make her jump. She deserves all the love in the world and I hope whoever she ends up with is prepared to give her that!

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Elsa, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt.truenorthrescue@gmail.com to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE.
