Elliot's Story

Meet Elliot

Elliot is a handsome 10-month-old fawn boxer with all the goofy energy, enthusiasm, and personality you’d expect from a young boxer boy! This playful pup loves other dogs and currently lives with a 4-month-old female boxer who keeps him busy wrestling and playing.

Elliot is great with kids and currently lives with children ranging from 4 to 18 years old. He’s housetrained, bell trained, and walks pretty well on leash for such a young, energetic guy. He also attends doggy daycare regularly to burn off energy and socialize with other dogs — something he absolutely loves!

Like many boxer puppies, Elliot is still a work in progress. He struggles with separation anxiety and does not enjoy being crated. When left alone too long, he can become destructive both inside and outside the home, so he will need a patient family committed to helping him continue building confidence and structure. He’s usually left alone for about 3 hours at a time and does best with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and companionship.

Elliot was brought home as an 8-week-old puppy and was recently neutered just two weeks ago. He’s now looking for a forever family that understands the boxer breed, appreciates puppy energy, and is ready to help this sweet boy grow into the amazing adult dog he’s meant to be.

Located in NY.
