Ellie May is a 3 year-old heeler mix who is looking for her forever home in Austin, Texas.
She was adopted back in 2021. But, sadly, her family lost everything, including their home. The only people who would accept their family of three children and four other pets didn’t allow them to take Ellie because she was “too big”.
So, Ellie had to return to our rescue.
Ellie May is a very sweet and loyal girl. She protects her humans, likes to play, and loves to cuddle. When meeting new people, Ellie gets anxious, and growls to let her humans know she’s concerned.
Treats help her warm up faster, but, once she gets to know you, Ellie will want to be with you all the time. This 64-pound girl is also good with kids, cats, and other dogs.
We are looking for a sweet family with another dog who can give Ellie May lots of love and take her on walks.
