Meet Ellie!<br/><br/>Ellie is an approximately 5 year old, 100 lb, female, Great Dane. <br/><br/>Ellie's originally agreed to foster Ellie four years ago to prevent her from being sent to a high kill shelter. The family is facing unfortunate circumstances beyond their control, and Ellie has found herself back on the market. <br/><br/>Ellie is petite for a Great Dane, and was the smallest of her litter, but she has achieved a lot since then! Ellie is e-collar trained and knows basic commands: sit, place and lay down. She has excellent manners and is house trained. She is also crate trained, but has had free range in the house in recent years. She has been in a home with dogs and children and loves both. <br/><br/>Ellie is shy at first, but warms up quickly. She even knows the command "hug" and will surely show her new people that trick in no time. She is excellent on a leash and would love a forever family to show her the neighborhood via walks.
