Elise Pit Bull Terrier Mix San Diego, CA

Hi, I’m Elise. I’m a beautiful female pup with some trust issues (strangers and dogs). I’m searching for a new foster home with a caring, patient, and savvy human who understands me and can help me build trust! When I was at the shelter, I was friendly with the staff and dogs and did well with the resident dogs in my foster home until recently. I’m not sure what changed to cause my insecurity fears in my home life.

If I feel insecure, I may nip or bite. I’ve bitten a pup and 3 people who came into my foster home because I thought they were threats. Once I trust you and feel comfortable, I’m sweet and loving.

So, it’s best I live in a home that is stable, quiet, with no dogs or kids. I am confident that once I’m paired with the right dog person I can concentrate and learn! I’m very smart and need those positive reinforcements.
