Meet Elise 💕<br/><br/>Elise is a beautiful 2-year-old silver French Bulldog with a resilient spirit and so much love to give. This sweet girl has been through a difficult start in life but has come out the other side with a joyful, affectionate personality that wins over everyone she meets.<br/><br/>Elise absolutely adores people—she’s friendly, loving, and happiest when she’s by your side or playing in the yard. She also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Like many Frenchies, she can show a bit of a “bossy” or dominant posture at times, but she doesn’t act on it and settles in nicely with proper introductions. We do feel she would do best in a home without cats.<br/><br/>Elise was found several months ago with severe burns to her rectal and vulva areas. Thankfully, those injuries have healed beautifully, but they have left her with fecal incontinence. Because of this, Elise wears diapers—and she handles it like a champ! As her body continues to heal, there’s hope her nerve function may improve, but at this time she will need a family committed to managing her care as-is.<br/><br/>Despite everything she’s been through, Elise is playful, happy, and full of life. She loves to run, explore, and soak up affection. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to start her next chapter.<br/><br/>Elise is looking for a compassionate, patient home that will see past her medical needs and embrace the incredible, loving dog she truly is.
