Eli arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. Eli has settled into foster care and is ready to find a forever family to call his own! His foster mom says: This sweet little guy is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to blossom. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, his adorable personality shines through. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He is crate trained and mostly potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new routine and learning your schedule. Small, cute, and easygoing, he loves to play but isn't overly energetic. He happily entertains himself with toys throughout the day and especially enjoys cozy dog beds, soft blankets, and afternoon naps. He's also food motivated, which makes training easier and more fun. He walks on a leash with practice and enjoys spending time outdoors playing in the yard. While he's generally quiet, he does have an adorable bark that you'll hear during playtime.
