Eggnog's Story

Meet Eggnog!
Eggnog is a super sweet, friendly girl with a BIG personality and even bigger energy! She loves people, other dogs, walks, running, and stopping to sniff absolutely everything.
She’s done great with her foster family’s dogs, teenagers, their friends, and the adults she’s met. We think she’d LOVE having a doggy friend to run and play with!
Eggnog is smart and already working on sit, stay, and touch. She’s also a pretty good walking buddy—she even spotted a deer recently and calmly stopped to sniff instead of pulling.
She’s still working through some classic young-dog stuff: lots of energy, occasional pulling, and figuring out what is and isn't a chew toy. She’ll need a family committed to continued training, socialization, exercise, and structure. A fenced yard would be a big plus!
Give this sweet girl a routine, some exercise, and a little guidance, and we think she’ll settle into her new life beautifully.
Basically, Eggnog is sweet, smart, social, and ready to find her people—she just needs someone willing to keep up!

• Almost 3 years old
• Currently 68 lbs
• Good with dogs and kids
• Adoption fee: $300

This dog is in foster. Please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com to schedule an appointment. Include information about your family and pets, what you are looking for in a canine companion, how you plan to exercise and train this dog, and why this specific dog seems like a good fit for your family. We offer same-day adoptions, do not place holds, and work on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure the best fit for both the dog and adopter.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed. Future veterinary care will be the adopter’s responsibility.
