Edwin's Story

Edwin is a young senior gentleman dog who is polite, loving and social with people and other dogs. We rescued him from a hoarding situation in California where he lived for a couple of years. He was so relieved and happy to be in foster now and out of the chaos of his previous home with 9 other dogs.

- 18 pounds and approximately 8 - 9 years old

- Possibly a Chihuahua mix. Has a cute little underbite that shows his bottom teeth. We are not sure what breed is mixed in there to cause his funny little profile but it's endearing nontheless!

- Good with other dogs and has lived with both large and small dogs without issue.

- Tested with cats and was polite and didn't bother the cat at all. He just wanted more attention from the humans and mostly ignored the cat after some mild initial interest.

- We have not seen Edwin with children. He is a gentle dog who would appreciate a calmer home. Calm, gentle kids would likely be fine.

- Good with his potty habits

- Walks nice on leash and no leash reactivity noted

- Rides well in the car and we haven't noted any car sickness

Edwin is going to make someone very happy. He is a little treasure who deserves a happy ending. His original owners moved out of the country and that is how he landed in the hoarding situation with another person the past couple of years. Edwin would love to bond with a new human that has lots of love to give.

Edwin is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin.

$250 adoption fee

Fostered in SE Portland, Oregon

APPLY TO ADOPT EDWIN ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
