Edna's Story

Edna was found as a stray but as she’s mostly deaf and blind and is content to just lay in a comfy spot, this little lady was definitely dumped 😢. No running...or even light jogging...occurs on her clock. She’s estimated to be 10-11 by Young-Williams but may be older. We’ll know more once she gets a thorough evaluation from the vet. She is the easiest houseguest. She’s only 7 lbs and doesn’t mind our other dogs at all. She’s housetrained and has had zero accidents. Just carry her to the grass when the others go out, and if she needs to go, she goes. Otherwise, she’s happy to just snooze and dream about her next meal. She’s on a soft diet and always makes a happy plate!

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy
We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.
