Sadly, through no fault of his own, he found himself back at the rescue and is now hoping to find the forever home he truly deserves.<br/><br/>This little guy loves the simple things in life-curling up beside you on the couch, soaking up snuggles, and being your loyal companion. He walks beautifully on a leash without reacting to other dogs or people, enjoys playing fetch (he's still perfecting the "bring it back" part!), rides wonderfully in the car, is potty trained, and happily uses a doggy door. Eddie also gets along well with other dogs and has successfully lived with a cat.<br/><br/>Eddie previously shared a quiet home with an elderly woman, where it was just the two of them. Because of that, he truly thrives as a devoted one-on-one companion. He forms deep bonds with his person and naturally sees himself as their little guardian. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, and even after he's comfortable, he may still feel the need to look out for the person he loves.<br/><br/>Eddie's ideal home would be with a single woman who works from home or is retired and is looking for a faithful little shadow to share life with.
