Eddie's Story

Meet Eddie

Scruffy, loyal, and looking for his forever home - this wiry-coated sweetheart has a heart of gold and is ready to settle into the good life.

House Manners & Training
Eddie's a polite little gentleman, especially with a consistent routine - he thrives on knowing what's coming next. He's also an excellent eater and highly treat-motivated - the sight of a treat bag sends him into the cutest little spin-cycle dance.

A Constant Companion
Eddie's happiest when he's not alone - he does best in a home where someone's around on a regular basis. He's the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you do, and he's looking for a person (or family) who wants that too. If you work from home, have a flexible schedule, or just love having a shadow underfoot, Eddie's your guy.

Crate Training
Still a work in progress - it's not that he minds the crate itself, he just isn't a fan of being on his own yet. He does best with a patient family willing to keep building his confidence with alone time, using positive reinforcement and plenty of high-value treats along the way.

Dog Friends
Eddie's shown he does well with a couple of dog pals already, but he's still working on his manners around new dogs he meets on walks. He'll need a family who can help him build good habits with calm, confident leash handling.

World's Best Sniffer
Eddie lives for his daily walks - he's so eager to see and smell the world that he's still learning not to pull, especially when there's a lot going on around him. He's a strong guy, so he'll do best with someone who can confidently handle a dog with some muscle behind that enthusiasm. A little leash work, some treats, and patience, and he'll be the best walking partner around.

The Ultimate Velcro Dog
Dog beds? Toys? Eddie hasn't quite figured those out - why bother when he can just curl up next to you? His favorite spot in the world is tucked against his human. Looking for a dedicated snuggle buddy for the couch? Eddie's your man.

Apply to meet him today!

If you are interested in Eddie, click Apply for Adoption!
