Meet Ed

Ed is an an older Chihuahua with a young soul. He came from heartbreaking neglect and being outside most of his life to learning to trust humans and allowing them to heal all his brokenness. He came to us after being closed up inside a very small kennel which was left outside - in south Louisiana! He was heartworm positive. He was treated by our Louisiana partner rescue and is now heartworm negative and ready to come to Maine! He does have a heart murmur but does not require medication at this time.

Ed is approximately 9 years old and full of life! He gets along well with other dogs both big and small. He would choose your lap over any cozy bed in the house.
Ed would make the perfect companion in home where he can play with friends and find a warm lap at the end of the day!
