Dyna Bear's Story
Dyna "Bear" arrived at my gate starving. She was skin and bones and appeared near death. Even though my other dogs were barking at her, when I opened my gate, she wobbled right by them. When I came back home i found her in my back yard, so I closed the gate and started feeding her. She was grateful and rested and was eating daily. She gained weight. Because of her health condition on arrival she has additional health care needs that we are looking to raise funds to support her continued road to best health. She appears to be 5-8years or more. She is a gentle soul with a nice deep sounding bark. Ideally, an adoption by someone who can manage/afford additional health checks and treatment. She loves treats and to eat! Managing food portions is important, as I believe, because of starvation experience, she is unable to managed this herself. She was on antibiotic and anti inflammatory for heartworm treatment and also on monthly prevention for flea, tick, worms. we are looking to raise funds to continue to help her health improve. She is low-maintenance and happy outdoors (in PR mountains). Likes walking around short distance and laying on the sun. As she is older, her adoptive parent would be one that is looking to give her gentle care and space to live out her days as peaceful and calm environment as possible. She is god w other dogs yet because of her health condition we would like to have her in a separate environment . Her spay/neuter status is currently unknown as she will need a comprehensive vet check. She is living with me (rescue/foster mom) in Maricao, Puerto Rico, she is well fed, happy, comfortable. She does require special consideration for anyone who may be interested in supporting her full return to health, appropriate to her age. Short travel distance only / no flights .please contact denise@denisemari.com and fill out an application here on the app/website. Donations to Angels for Animals PR greatly appreciated in her name.<br/>Kindly,<br/>Denise Mari<br/>"Dyna Bear"s rescue/foster mom
