Dusty's Story

Dusty is a spayed female blue merle Sheltie. She is 9 1/2 years old and she currently weighs 40 lbs. She has already lost 10lbs while staying with her foster family, and is looking for a family willing to help her with her weight loss journey. Dusty was surrendered by her previous owners, as they could no longer care for her. She is now up to date on all of her vet care, and has recently had a dental cleaning with 18 teeth extracted. She takes maintenance medications for epilepsy and heart health. Dusty is house trained and crate trained, but doesn't really need a crate. She is a laid back and sweet girl, who gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. A securely fenced yard is preferred for Dusty's adoptive home. If you're interested in meeting or adopting Scarlett, the first step would be filling out an adoption application via our website scsheltierescue.com. Her adoption donation is $350. JULY 2026
