Dunne's Story

Meet Dunne! This sweet boy originally came to us from Afghanistan and is looking for a patient family who will help him continue to build confidence. Dunne can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, his loving personality shines through. He does well with other dogs and may benefit from having a confident canine companion to show him the ropes.

Dunne is a playful, energetic boy who loves to run and have fun. Because he is still learning how to navigate the world, a home without young children may be the best fit since he doesn’t always realize his size. New dogs while out on walks can make him nervous, and he may try to put on a big-dog act to feel safe — something his foster family is helping him work through.

Dunne takes daily anxiety medication to help him feel his best, and he takes it like a champ! He may not be the dog who joins you for busy outings or crowded dog parks, but he would love nothing more than to curl up on the couch, wait for you to come home, and be your loyal companion every day.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
