Dunn's Story

Meet Dunnthe social director of Brooks & Dunn.

While Brooks is perfectly content snoozing the day away, Dunn is the playful, outgoing half of this Mastiff duo. He's curious, fun and always looking for something to doeven if that something happens to be stealing one of your shoes. The good news? He doesn't destroy them. Apparently, Dunn just believes shoes should be relocated occasionally.

He's doing well walking on leash and has also done well being walked separately from Brooks. His foster believes both boys could adjust to living apart if necessary. Our first choice would be to find Brooks and Dunn a home together, but we would consider separate adoptions if that's ultimately the best fit for each dog.

Like any goofy Mastiff, Dunn still has a few manners to polish. He has developed the rather inappropriate but apparently hilarious habit of playfully nipping at someone's backside when they bend over. His foster is actively working with him to teach him that humans do not appreciate this particular form of comedy.

Dunn is estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old and is scheduled to be neutered on September 14. After recovery, he'll be ready for his forever home at the end of September.

If you're looking for a big dog with an equally big personalityand you're willing to keep an eye on your shoes and possibly your backsideDunn might just be your guy.

And yes adopting Brooks & Dunn together would mean you could legitimately tell everyone you have Brooks & Dunn living at your house. That alone has to be worth considering.
PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions - drop us an email at GPMastiffRescue@gmail.com. We answer email inquiries daily.

GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes.
