Meet Duncan!

Duncan is a SOFT, young, happy boy, who is very intelligent, and affectionate once he trusts you. He is even more handsome than in his photos - and he's on the smaller side for his breed. He is a joyful little guy who enjoys playing with other dogs.

He is quite skittish when he first meets new people, but warms up after receiving treats and learning to trust.  We think that someone may have abused him in his young life which has caused him to be afraid of new people.  Once he trusts you, he is VERY affectionate.  He does NOT have an aggressive bone in his body.

Duncan was found on the streets of South Carolina, starving yet craving companionship. He was captured by Animal Control, and barely escaped euthanasia. He's here at our shelter in Weare, waiting for his forever family to come and take him HOME!

This sweet, handsome fellow is about 9 months old and he weighs just 36 lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped.
