Dukota - Sponsored by Danny's Story
Meet Dukota -- a handsome Boxer boy with the perfect mix of goofy charm and affectionate companionship! Like many Boxers, Dukota has a fun-loving, bouncy personality and enjoys getting out for walks, playtime, and plenty of exercise. At the shelter, he's been playful and entertaining, often showing off his zoomies and keeping everyone smiling. Once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he's more than happy to settle in for cuddles and quality time with his favorite people.

This athletic guy has a silly streak that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he's bouncing around the yard, making goofy faces, or leaning in for affection, Dukota brings plenty of personality wherever he goes. He thrives in a predictable home where he can feel comfortable and secure. Because he can get overstimulated around young, boisterous children, he would do best with older children or in an adult-only home.

Dukota can be selective with his canine friends. However, he previously lived successfully with other dogs and did well during playtimes at the shelter with a sweet female dog. He would likely do best either as the only dog in the home or with friendly, well-matched dogs given slow and proper introductions.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a goofy streak, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love, Dukota may just be your perfect match!

If you are interested in meeting Dukota, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am - 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours).
