Duke and Daisy's Story
Meet Duke & Daisy! Double the bassets, double the fun! Duke and Daisy are two adorable 6-month-old littermates and bonded to each other. Duke is the red & white, while Daisy is the tricolor. Their family made the difficult decision to surrender them after realizing that changes in work schedules and family commitments meant the puppies were spending far too much time confined during the day. These two may be siblings, but they have very different personalities! Daisy is definitely the brains of the operation. She's a curious, confident little girl who likes to keep everyone on their toes—and she's quite the escape artist! If there's a way out of a puppy pen, Daisy will probably be the first to figure it out. She's adventurous, smart, and always ready to explore. Duke, on the other hand, is the happy-go-lucky sweetheart of the pair even though he can be a little whiney. He's easygoing, affectionate, and content to tag along wherever the fun is. While Daisy is making the plans, Duke is just happy to be part of the adventure. Like most puppies, they're still learning the ropes. They're working on house training, with Duke currently a little further along than Daisy. They're well-mannered, aren't excessive barkers, and simply need someone willing to continue their puppy training and help them become the wonderful adult bassets they're destined to be. They can't wait to start the next chapter of their lives with a family who will give them the attention, love, and adventures they've been waiting for.
