Duke's Story

My name is Duke and I'm a bit of a goofball and a silly boy. We think I am a Lab/Pit mix but we aren't sure but I do know that I love playing with humans and other dogs. Tennis balls, frisbees, and ropes are my favorite toys. I love any kind of chew toy really though. I am a young adult boy and I have a lot of energy and I am super fun to be around. I am currently enrolled in the Best Chance Adoption Program at LCMHF and everyone up there loves me. I am learning how to sit, shake, stay, and walk on a leash like a gentleman. I love people of all sizes and ages and I'm down with cats too. If you want to meet me, just ask!

We have applications on our website at www.pawneehumane.com We require that a vet check be completed and the application be approved before taking home your new adopted pet. Emailing the application so you can be pre-approved before driving to the shelter is a great way to ensure that you can take your new best friend home that day! Please visit our website for fees. Our shelter is located at the corner of Hwy 264 & 8th St (M5 Rd) west of Larned, KS We are just north of the Larned Mental Health and Correctional Facility.
