In June 2024, he came to Tails of Hope Animal Rescue after a heartbreaking series of events. He was originally rescued from a high-kill shelter by a kind woman who saved him from euthanasia. The plan was for him to be transported to a rescue up north, but that opportunity never came. Instead, Deuce spent much of his time living alone in an apartment, where he was often left by himself and only occasionally got the chance to go outside.<br/><br/>Despite everything hes been through, Deuce has never lost his loving spirit. Today, he is thriving. He absolutely loves running and playing outside, enjoys every opportunity to stretch his legs, and has a wonderful, happy personality. Hes full of energy, incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager to be with his people. Deuce listens well, loves attention, and is always ready for an adventure or a cuddle afterward.<br/><br/>He gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats, making him an excellent addition to a family with other pets.
