Dude and Sassy, a bonded pair, urgently need a foster home or, even better, an adopter. They are in a temporary foster home but must leave.

They are both 7-8 years old, spayed and neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. They are potty-trained and crate-trained. They get along with other dogs and enjoy the yard, toys, beds, blankets, and affection from humans. They sit and roll over and are leash-trained.

A little background on these two to inform possible fosters/adopters not to invite negative comments. We know that they spent the first year of their life in a small crate with a third dog, and after that, they were dumped and spent several months in a backyard with no human attention. They were rescued by another animal rescue from the backyard who had them in foster care for several months, where they thrived. They were adopted and had a few happy years, but unfortunately, they were returned to crate life after the family had a baby a few years ago. The adopters notified the first rescue of the situation but the rescue didn't act and they were kept in a crate for months 22 hours a day.
