This gentle girl has a soft, shy nature and is still learning that people are her friends. With a little time, patience, and understanding, Duchess will blossom into a deeply loyal and loving companion.<br/>Duchess absolutely thrives around other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine buddy to help guide her and show her the ropes. She loves splashing in the water and playing with her dog friends, those are her happiest moments!<br/>Like many Pyrenees, Duchess is already showing strong guardian instincts. She has the makings of an excellent family protector or even a livestock guardian dog in the right environment. Because of this, she will need an adopter who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is committed to continuing her training and socialization at her pace.<br/>She is currently learning to walk on a leash and is making great progress with potty training. Duchess is also quiet and calm in her kennel, making her an easy companion in the home.<br/>Duchess is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the time she needs to build confidence and trust.
