Meet Duchess
Meet Duchess. Duchess is a four-year-old sweetheart who was trapped in a house with way too many other dogs. UAAF agreed to take her in and help her to make a new start. She came into UAAF in the middle of a false pregnancy, filthy, with nails that were curling in on themselves.
With an infusion of TLC (good food, attention and affection) Duchess is doing amazing now. She loves snuggles and kisses. She is the perfect lap dog and loves nothing more then a tummy scratch. She will sit peacefully for hours in a warm lap. She does not mind cats or other dogs. She will grumble if dogs get in her face but doesn't bite. She likes to tunnel herself under blankets at night.
Duchess is doggy door trained. She doesn't like dry food. She prefers soft food morning and night. She does bark, as most Chihuahuas do, but it's not non-stop. In short, Duchess is a precious little gem and will be a joy and delight in the home lucky enough to adopt her.
Duchess has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
If you are interested in adopting Duchess, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Amanda at 801-864-5510 or email amandascottsemail@yahoo.com.
