Drake's Story

Drake is a 2-year-old, 70-pound German Shorthaired Pointer with a heart full of love! This handsome boy is a total cuddle bug who loves giving kisses and being wherever his people are. When he's not by your side, you can usually find him sneaking upstairs for a nap on the bed or proudly carrying around his favorite stuffed duck-which he insists on hiding in the houseplants!

Drake is gentle when taking treats, walks well on a leash, and is making great progress with his house training. He's learned to let you know when he needs to go outside by getting a little rowdy or barking to tell you it's potty time.

He can be shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. Drake does well with other dogs, although he prefers female dogs or male dogs his size or smaller. He has also met cats and, after an initial curiosity to chase, settled down and was content to sniff and coexist. A confident, dog-savvy cat would be the best match. Because of his size and excitement, we'd recommend a home with children 12 years or older.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be your shadow, shower you with affection, and make you laugh with his goofy stuffed-duck antics, Drake might just be your perfect match!

Apply Here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FCOH/Dog

*If you are viewing this profile on Petfinder, please note integration issues between our shelter program and Petfinder often occur and limit what you can see.
