Dracula's Story

Dracula may have a dramatic name, but beneath it is a perfectly pint-sized dog with a tender heart and a lot of personality. He’s a charming mix of sweet and spicy — the kind of little dog who keeps life interesting while also craving deep connection with his person. Once Dracula feels safe, he softens quickly, leaning into affection and showing just how snuggly and loving he can be.

He is housebroken, well behaved in the home, and delightfully goofy. Dracula enjoys playtime, gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, and truly loves people — he’s never met a stranger. That said, when he feels overwhelmed or unsure, he can become defensive, so he’s looking for an experienced dog owner who understands canine body language, respects boundaries, and can help him navigate those moments with patience and calmness. For this reason, he is not a good fit for a home with young children.

With the right person, Dracula thrives. He bonds deeply, adores belly rubs and ear scratches, and loves curling up close once trust is established. He may be small, but his heart is huge — and when he chooses you, he’s all in for life.

Dracula is looking for someone who sees him for who he truly is and is willing to meet him where he’s at. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, affection, and a connection that’s truly special.

Adoption is $400, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and a clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.

APPLY on our WEBSITE:
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/becomeafoster
