Dr. Cassie McKay's Story

Dr. Cassie McKay is an approximately 9 week old female pit mix with striking black spots that perfectly complement her bright white coat. Along with her two sisters, who are also named after characters from The Pitt, Cassie was found as a stray in Tennessee when they were just 6 weeks old. She arrived in foster care a little skinny and dealing with worms, but after a few weeks of good food, care, and love, she has blossomed into a healthy, happy puppy.

Cassie is full of personality. She is smart, sweet, and just the right amount of sassy, making her a puppy who will keep you laughing with her antics while melting your heart with her cuddles. Like many young puppies, she is still learning her manners and sometimes embraces her role as the pesky little sister. The good news is that she takes corrections well and is already learning how to entertain herself with toys and independent play.

This little girl loves other dogs and enjoys making new friends. She does not currently live with children, but she has spent time with a toddler and did very well. Cassie is a puppy of extremes. She is either zooming around with endless enthusiasm or completely passed out after a big adventure. She loves to run, play, and explore, but she is just as happy curling up in a lap and napping for hours once she has burned off her energy.

Cassie is currently working on crate training and is eager to continue learning with a family committed to helping her grow into a well rounded adult dog. She loves everyone she meets and is always ready for whatever comes next. Whether it is a walk, a play session, a road trip, or simply spending time with her favorite people, Cassie is happiest when she is included.

If you are looking for a fun, affectionate puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Dr. Cassie McKay may be the perfect addition to your family.

Looking for a playful cuddle bug to complete your home?
Fill out an application here: https://www.playersforpits.com/adoption-survey
If you have specific questions before applying, please feel free to email inquiries@playersforpits.com If you are interested in adopting, please go directly to www.playersforpits.com to apply.
