Dozer's Story

Dozer's name doesn't depict him bulldozing; just dozing! He is at least 9 years old and someone took stellar care of him most of his life. We don't understand how he came to be dumped in the country near Davis, IL. He became emaciated during his doggy jail time and acquired an eye infection, ear infection and some pressure sores from lying on concrete.
Dozer has hip dysplasia and struggles to stand from a lying down position. We have started him on Galliprant and it's helping! He can manage a few stairs and when it's time to go outside or for a walk, he is ready to go! He gets in a groove and moves right along. His blood panel came back fantastic!
This ole grampa does fine being bathed and nails clipped. His eye infection has cleared up, and his pressure sores have healed. Dozer is basically furniture, that's why we can't understand why this sweet soul was abandoned. We'd love for him to have his own home for the rest of his days but would also consider a Foster Home for him. We pay for all his needs. Contact us at bonafied@yahoo.com to cop a snuggle with Dozer!
