Meet DOUGLAS

Douglas is one of our staff and volunteer favorites, a friendly young man with a personality they describe as fun-loving and "charismatic"! He's about a year old and medium-sized, with a soft, gorgeous chocolate-colored coat. He's housetrained, walks very well on his leash and rides well in the car. He also does well with other dogs here at the shelter, so bring yours over for a meet-and-greet! He loves everyone he meets, and enjoyed petting and tummy rubs from childen at a recent Adoption Waggin' event. He had hip surgery in early February, and he's recovering very well; he probably should just take it easy for a few more weeks. We think he'd be a fine family dog, so please come on over and get to know our very special Douglas!
